Where Did The Summer Go??

What a crazy summer and so much fun!!  Well since my last post after Reggan's 5th Birthday, we went to the Lake of the Ozarks for a long weekend and had a blast!!  Reggan went tubing for the first time and even got back on after falling off (sorry no pics, it was crazy with the twins).  We got back on Monday evening and she was in our county fair pageant Tuesday with around 30 other little girls.  She WON this year!!  She was so proud and we were proud of her, she was so good and seemed like a pro!!

She gets to do all kinds of fun parade's and go to pageants as a visiting queen, she LOVES it!!

The babies are doing great and getting bigger and bigger!!  She has him by a few lbs, but they are the same length and the Dr. said they are growing great.  They started eating cereal and veggies and do good with it, we will probably start with fruit sometime soon.  We really enjoyed our summer and got to enjoy the kids and do a lot of swimming and hanging out with friend's and family.

Now that the summer is almost officially over, Reggan has started Kindergarten!!  I can not believe my baby is all grown up and going to school now, she seems to really like it.

Back to Work!

Off to work I go this week!  Although I am just working part time for two weeks, I am officially back to work and our sitter has started.  I am ready to go back, but not ready to leave the babies, I am enjoying them so much.  They are getting big, cooing and smiling all of the time at me (almost as if they are saying how could you leave this cute little thing and go to work).

It has been a busy summer so far, Reggan had her dance recital in June, which was a lot of work, but tons of fun....she LOVES her dancing!!  She says she is doing hip-hop and lyrical in fall, so more for the recital next year!!  The babies were also baptized and we have had a lot of family cookouts and birthday parties.

Last week was Reggan's fifth birthday, I can not believe she is five and starting kindergarten in a month.  She is so excited!  We celebrated her birthday by going to the american girl place in Chicago and spent the day eating and shopping.  She is going to be in the little miss MO-DO pageant again this year. she is such a girly girl and loves doing stuff like this.  Not sure where she gets it because I never liked doing those things and really do not like doing with her, but I cheer her on....wish her luck, she has some stiff competition this year (all the girls are so cute)!!

Hope everyone is enjoying their summer!!

A LOT TO REPORT

WELL.....there has been a lot going on in the three months since I posted last. We had our precious twins, Hunter James and Hayden Christine on March 31 (CDH awareness day), my water broke when I was in bed about 11:30 on 3/30 and they were born at 1:17 and 1:18 via c-section. I think our precious angel had a hand in it.

Hunter was born 5lbs 12oz and Hayden was 6lbs 4oz, they cried as soon as they came out and it was the most amazing thing I had ever heard and of course David and I both lost it. Although we have suffered such a loss we feel so blessed to have three healthy children, there are so many people that do not have any children that so badly want and deserve them. Children are the root of our hearts! They will be 8 weeks old tomorrow and are growing so fast, we are enjoying every bit of them!

This past weekend we held the first annual Rounds 4 Ryann. It was a GREAT turnout and one hell of an event!!! We will continue to have this event every year the weekend before Memorial Day. I am amazed at the generosity of people!! We raised over 20k and had a blast doing it. ALL proceeds raised will be going to St. Louis Children's Hospital CDH research program. To my precious angel, we love and miss you each and every day!!

Reggan starts kindergarten this year (my baby is all grown up) and she continues to amaze me each and every day. She is a very caring and loving little girl and is a big helper with the babies. She has had her moments as every child her age does, but all in all not much has changed. I can not believe how fast they grow up.

Enjoy the new pics!
